School Age : Sleep

School Age : Sleep

What to Expect

By the time your child reaches school age they will generally be sleeping through the night. Getting enough sleep will help your child feel more settled, happy and focused during their active days at school, as well as strengthening their immune system and reducing their risk of infection or illness.

School age children generally need between 10-11 hours of uninterrupted sleep each night, with a bedtime usually around 7.30pm. your child will be tired after an active day at school and unlike their defiant younger years, may welcome bedtime each night.
