Asparagus & Pumpkin Puree

What you need:

  • 2 asparagus spears, trimmed and cut
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin, diced
  • 1/4 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 tbsp quick oats

How to:

  1. Steam the vegetables until cooked through and then either puree or mash.
  2. Cook oats according to the directions on pack.
  3. Mix oats with pureed steamed vegetables. For younger babies, mix half a teaspoon of pureed vegetables with rice cereal.
