Week 17: Growing and Glowing with Our Alazhay
Alazhay’s little one is now the size of an avocado! Who knew guacamole could be so adorable? 🥑 This week, Alazhay feels less nauseous, which has been AMAZING – it’s nice to see some color back in her cheeks! She’s been waking up uncomfortably, experiencing burps, and growing pains. Despite these changes, she is doing great and just rolling with it.
Check out our week 18 update reel for her personal weekly update.

What to Expect When You’re Expecting - Week 17 (A Baby’s Perspective)
Hey everyone! This week has been full of exciting developments for me as I grow bigger! 👶💕
Size Update: I'm about the size of a pear now, with a crown-to-rump length of 13cm and weighing over 140 grams. Perfectly palm-sized! 🥰
Body Fat: I'm starting to form body fat, getting ready for my big debut!
Skin: My skin is still translucent, but I’m working hard to grow and develop.
Practising Skills: I'm now practising swallowing and sucking, getting ready for life outside.
Heartbeat: My heart is beating strong at 140-150 beats per minute, which is about twice as fast as yours! 💓
It's truly amazing to think about all the growth and development happening right now. Each little flutter and every heartbeat brings us closer to meeting each other.
Stay tuned for more updates, and keep sending all the love and good vibes my way! 🌟
